About Us

David Haas is founder and managing broker of Ernst & Haas Management Company. David started his real estate career in the early 1990s while attending California State University, Long Beach. After a few years of brokering residential and investment property, he had the opportunity to manage some of the properties he helped broker. Seeing a need for professional real estate management in the community, David founded Ernst & Haas. Today, the firm has grown to service hundreds of clients and properties with professional management services. When David is not working or spending time with his family, he can be found sailing somewhere off the California coast. His passion for open water is matched only by his commitment to his clients and his team.

Annette is our Operations Manager at Ernst & Haas. She has more than 25 years experience in handling personnel matters, with the majority of those years having worked with large corporations. In 2001, she graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Ernst & Haas is excited to have Annette on our team as her experience and proactive attitude has helped shaped the company. Annette enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family during her free time.

Raquel is the Front Office Lead, bringing extensive customer service experience and procedural knowledge across multiple departments. Her diverse background makes her an excellent fit for this position. Raquel enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jennifer Lopez-Hernandez is a versatile professional with experience in education and digital marketing. She spent five years specializing in social media strategies, helping businesses and nonprofits grow their online presence. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Marketing. She initially aimed to become a pediatrician but discovered a passion for helping people through marketing. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys baking, learning new languages, playing the piano, lifting weights, and spending time with her loved ones. Her favorite season is spring, especially when tulips are in bloom.

Susie is the Client Relations Associate at Ernst & Haas and takes great pride in being able to provide excellent customer service to everyone she comes in contact with.

With several years of experience providing top-tier customer service, Guadalupe is known for her exceptional time management skills, ability to multi-task, and keen attention to detail. Her commitment to delivering high-quality results makes her a vital asset to the team. Outside of work, Guadalupe enjoys spending time with loved ones and unwinding with a good movie. Her favorite season is fall, a time she cherishes for its cozy atmosphere and vibrant beauty.

Malena came in to Ernst and Haas with a long history in accounting and she currently holds two B.A.s in Business Administration and in International Finance. Prior to working for Ernst and Haas, Malena has worked for Wells Fargo and American Auction Company and to this day, she enjoys the daily challenges that comes with working in accounting. Malena is originally from Quito, Ecuador and she has been all over the world. In her free time, she enjoys trail running in the great outdoors, wine, Latin music and traveling with friends and family.

Gabby comes to us with 2 years of customer service experience. She was co-captain of her high school varsity softball team and volunteers for beach clean-ups and as well as a poll worker. She is currently working on her bachelor's degree at CSULB in accounting and human resources management. During her free time, she likes to experience the outdoors, play volleyball, softball, hang out with family and friends, and lounge at the beach.

Jessica joined our team as the Assistant to the Leasing Coordinator. She came to Ernst & Haas with over two years of experience in property management, having previously worked in both administration and accounting roles. Jessica was recognized for her skills and dedication and was then promoted to the role of Leasing Coordinator. She is furthering her understanding of real estate law at Long Beach City College. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her friends, family, traveling, and salsa dancing.

Cinthia joined the Ernst and Haas team with 11 years of customer service experience. She is originally from the San Francisco Bay area but has lived in Long Beach for 5 years. Cinthia enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, and attending live shows.

Kelly, originally from Florida joined the Ernst & Haas team with over 25 years of customer service experience. She strives daily to help others and loves that she gets the opportunity to do so here at Ernst and Haas. Kelly is an avid reader and loves to watch sports with friends and family.

Lorenzo first joined Ernst & Haas as a Maintenance Coordinator. Because of his excellent work ethic and eagerness to learn, he was promptly promoted to Maintenance Supervisor. Lorenzo received his CHPP training and certification in 2007 and is constantly attending seminars and courses to enhance his customer service skills. Lorenzo's commitment to our clients and tenants led him to take over the Maintenance Department in 2012 in an effort to provide quick and efficient solutions in maintenance-related issues. Lorenzo has been promoted again recently to Property Supervisor because of his continued hard work. On his days off, Lorenzo enjoys sports and playing the drums and guitar.

Sal first joined Ernst & Haas as a Maintenance Coordinator. He was quickly recognized as a leader and demonstrated an amazing ability to connect with people. He was soon promoted to Property Supervisor where he was assigned some of the toughest and most problematic buildings. Sal was able to take on this challenge with eagerness and a desire to succeed. He obtained his CHPP certification in 2006 and continues to gain knowledge in his field by learning from the most difficult circumstances. He has an intimate understanding of the perspective of the owner since becoming an income property owner himself. In his spare time, Sal enjoys spending time with friends and family and most of all playing soccer.

Jeannine joined Ernst & Haas as a former escrow officer of 7 years. She came to us with an extensive real estate background and a sharp eye for detail. She has a talent for making commercial tenants feel at ease with their business relocation needs and she embodies the philosophy that customer relations is the most important part of any business. Jeannine is a Property Supervisor that handles all operations of the executive suites within the company. In her free time, Jeannine enjoys culinary arts and spending quality time with her family.

Frank comes with 7 years of customer service experience working as a call center manager where his courteous demeanor has allowed him to be a great Property Supervisor. Frank is excited to learn the real estate industry and share his vast experience with our team. He is currently working on his bachelor’s degree in business administration. In his free time, Frank enjoys reading, staying active and spending time with his five nephews.

Angie Sandoval joins the Ernst & Haas team with over 20 years of experience as a Property Manager, Property Supervisor and Property Director. In her previous work she was nominated as the Best Onsite Manager, Best Leasing Agent and Employee of the Year more than 3 different times for each category. Beyond her achievements and experience, Angie’s willingness to learn makes her a great addition to our team. Recently, Angie and her daughter have begun the process of becoming volunteers at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance since they are both passionate in becoming involved with their community.

Octavio first joined our team as a Maintenance Coordinator, then progressed to Maintenance Lead. As a result of his strong work ethic and proven dedication within his prior positions, he was promoted to the role of Property Supervisor. During his free time Octavio enjoys cross training, traveling, as well as spending time with his family and friends.

Brenda has 20 years of experience in property management as a transaction coordinator. She holds a certification in real estate principles, an Associate of Arts degree, and a Business Management certification. Known for her ability to build strong relationships, resolve conflicts, and provide exceptional customer service, Brenda is a dedicated professional. In her free time, she enjoys taking her rescue dog, Nugget, on long walks and reading. Fall is her favorite season of the year.

Luis first joined Ernst and Haas as a maintenance coordinator in 2009. As a result of his strong work ethic and proven dedication within his prior position, he was promoted to the role of property supervisor. He left in 2015 to Europe and came back in 2020 to join the team again. Luis likes to spend his free time with family, friends, and his beloved basset hound Khaleesi.

Darien comes to Ernst & Haas with 8 years of property management experience. After getting his start in property management as a leasing agent he was quickly promoted to property manager. He exhibits excellent customer service skills, a strong ability to adapt to challenging situations, and comes up with creative solutions. During his free time, he is active in the gym and spends quality time with his family.

Adriana earned her real estate license during college and joined Ernst and Haas with a background in both real estate and event management. Her strongest traits are the ability to thoroughly analyze challenges, as well as paying close attention to detail. During her free time, she enjoys working out, interior decorating, and hosting events for friends and family.

Jaime first joined the Ernst & Haas team as a Maintenance Coordinator and although he thoroughly enjoyed the maintenance field, his professionalism and hard work demonstrated the potential for a Property Supervisor. He was promoted to Property Supervisor in 2004, and earned his CHPP accreditation in 2005. Jaime continues to expand his knowledge in the industry by attending dozens of continuing education courses each year. What Jaime holds most important is excellent communication with his clients. In his free time, Jaime enjoys spending quality time with his wife and 4 children. His passion is for soccer, and his team of choice is Mexico Chivas.

Emma has 11 years’ experience in property management and customer service. In her free time, she loves a good coffee with a book. Her favorite seasons of the year are fall and winter because she likes the cold and the rain.

Tyrone has over 10 years of experience in real estate and property management, showcasing his extensive knowledge and expertise in the industry. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he excels at building strong relationships with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. A passionate traveler and music enthusiast, Tyrone loves exploring new cultures and sharing his experiences with others. His favorite season is summer, which he cherishes for its warmth and the opportunities it brings for adventure.

Yvette joins the Ernst & Haas team as a Maintenance Lead with over 16 years of administrative and customer service experience. Prior to Ernst & Haas she worked as a dispatcher, receptionist and accounts payable assistant, among other positions. Her experience in these roles have allowed her to excel in her current position. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors with her family, watching her son play baseball, and cooking.

Alejandra joined the Ernst and Haas team with over 9 years of experience. Her positive attitude is an asset when dealing with clients. Alejandra enjoys spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She is passionate about cooking and loves going on trips with her family.

Jarai joined the Ernst and Haas team with 15 years of customer service experience working in retail management, hospitality, and cash handling services. She truly enjoys working with customers and helping others, whether it be a suggestion or giving a helping hand. Jarai is a CA native and grew up in Belmont Shore. She is a dog lover and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
