Weekly Calendar of Events for Septemeber 15-14, 2010
September 15 marks the start of National Hispanic Heritage Month! September 15 was chosen as the starting point for the celebration because it is the anniversary of independence of five Latin American countries: Costa Rica, El Salvado, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua. In addition, Mexico, Chile and Belize celebrate their independence days on September 16, 18, and 21, respectively. Museum of Latin American Art will be having events throughout the month. Check out our updated weekly calendar of events below.
